Ahh, love is in the air...or is that the smell of french fries? Just kidding.
All jokes aside, Valentine's day is creepin' up on us really quick, so I thought I'd share my top 10 gift ideas for your lovely lady this Valentine's Day!
I also did a gift guide for him over on my YouTube channel, so scroll down or click here if you want to check that out too.
1. A New Handbag
Handbags are essential to (most) women's lives, so a new handbag is always a great idea. If your significant other is like me, they can't get enough of handbags and want to collect them all! If you've noticed her hinting at a particular bag at the mall, that's probably the one she wants.
2. A Wallet
Alright, so maybe a handbag is waaay too overwhelming to select from, or maybe she has too many and does absolutely not need another one. A wallet is always another great option. Most of us use some form of wallet everyday, so why not get a high quality one?
3. That New Beauty Product
The beauty industry is constantly releasing new products and items, and chances are, your lady has it on her mind. You can never go wrong with replenishing a loved skincare product, or getting her that new palette she's been dying for. Can't decide on which product? A safe bet is always perfume (but get a gift receipt just in case, hehe).
4. A Spa Day
I don't know about you, but I looove spending a full day to get pampered and just relax. A spa day is one of my top gift ideas because most of us probably aren't getting pampered on a weekly or even monthly basis, and we tend to forget how worth it it is to give our bodies a break. It doesn't even have to be a full day experience, there are plenty of couple massage deals out there right now, so book them up!
5. Romantic Weekend Trip
So unfortunately, Valentine's Day falls on a Wednesday this year, but that doesn't mean you can't book a fun little getaway for that weekend! I'm sure many people are doing this, so make sure you figure out where you want to go quick, so you aren't stuck with those overpriced hotel rooms or airbnbs.
6. Personalize It
We all can appreciate personalized gifts, so one of my favorite ways to personalize a gift is to make a "gift bouquet" of all of that person's favorite things. Chocolate bars, snacks, clothing that you know she loves (for me that would be work out clothes, lol), etc! You should know your significant other more than anyone, so I'm sure she'll appreciate a thoughtful gift.
P.S. It doesn't have to be a gift bouquet! Literally personalize a gift in any way you can :)
7. A New Experience
If your significant other craves experiencing new things, then this would be a the perfect gift! Depending on what you're willing or not willing to do, experiencing something new together is so fun and special! This could be as crazy as skydiving (yes, I've done that before and it's AWESOME), going wine or beer tasting together somewhere, or going on a hot air balloon. Obviously all these things may not be accessible, but I'm sure there's something you both could do together! Get creative, hehe.
I'm not going to lie, I'm not a jewelry fanatic, but I do like having a few key high quality pieces I can accessorize with. I recommend higher quality jewelry because they last longer, don't turn green, and just overall look much nicer. It's also a safe bet to go for the daintier piece of jewelry versus bulky, it'll stand the test of time and wont go out of style.
9. The Little Things
If you've been with your significant other for a while, it might be difficult to make Valentine's day gifts interesting. I've been with Jeff for 6+ years, so there have been times where we mutually agree to just have a special dinner together with no gifts (and that's perfectly ok!!). At this point in the relationship, it's really all about the little things that make a difference- like replacing the old coffee machine, toaster oven, or paying for the groceries, car washes, etc. Remember, not every gift every year has to be lavish and extravagant.
10. Fuel Her Hobby
This is also a safe go-to for a gift idea because I'm sure there's something your significant other enjoys doing. For me, it would be finance/ money management/ personal development books, work out gear, or any blogging/ YouTube tools. In a way, this is also like a personalized gift since it'll show you actually know her likes and dislikes.
That pretty much wraps up this post! I hope you found it helpful. Feel free to subscribe to my website so you never miss a post! Goodluck, and happy gifting!
