Hi friends, it has been such a long time since my last post and I apologize for that. Life has changed significantly in the past two years due to current events, but today I am back to share some happy news-- I FINALLY got my braces off!

I have shared quick updates in my YouTube videos over the last couple years, which you can watch in this playlist HERE. You can also find more photos on my other braces blog posts, but here are some photos I took since my last update leading up to the final reveal.

MARCH 2020

During this time, my teeth were still shifting around while we utilized the TADs on and off. There were still some small gaps, and I was utilizing my rubber bands.

It took quite some time for the tiniest little gaps to close. Here you can see I was waiting for the final gap to close completely. At this point, we stopped using TADs altogether, but it was recommended not to get the TADs removed until after my braces are off.

On March 25, 2022, I FINALLY got my braces removed! For more information on how the process went, retainers, and my experience overall, watch my YouTube video below.

I feel like a completely new person, especially when comparing how my teeth looked prior to my orthodontic treatment and I couldn't be happier! Definitely will be wearing my retainers as instructed. After FOUR YEARS, this braces journey has come to an end.

Thank you for following me along the way as I shared my experience and embarrassing transformation photos. I will be sharing my TAD's removal experience on YouTube, so be sure to follow me there, as this is the final blog post regarding my braces journey.

Thank you again to Dr. Updike at Updike Orthodontics and Dr. Kim at Honest Oral Surgeon for sponsoring my orthodontic journey and transforming my smile!
