2017 Adventures

Hi everyone and welcome to another blog post.

Before I dive in, I just wanted to say thank you to all of you for your support and feedback on my site! My heart is so full and happy, I'm so glad you are enjoying it!

I know 2017 is over, but I had so many photos that haven't been shared from all my adventures, so this post is dedicated to some of my favorite places I visited.

1. Sunset Cliffs, San Diego, CA

One of my best friends took me here back in January 2017, and it absolutely took my breathe away! If you're ever in San Diego, definitely check out this spot. If you can make it to watch the sunset, it's even more stunning! Also, the first photo was from another San Diego trip in 2017, but I thought it fit the SD theme.

2. Seven Magic Mountains, Las Vegas, NV

If you're ever driving to Las Vegas, this is a cool random little spot that can be found a couple miles away from the strip! It's known for its colorful stacked rocks, and is a cool photo op. (They kind of look like Nerd candy don't they??)

3. San Francisco, CA

San Francisco is one of my favorite places to visit, so Jeff and I went to San Francisco for our 6th year anniversary last year! It was his first time since he was a kid, so it was extra special. We walked all around downtown, hiked in Muir Woods (which I highly recommend, the Redwood trees are BEAUTIFUL!), visited Fisherman's Wharf, had Trish's donuts on Pier 39, and walked up and down Moraga Steps! We also visited Coit Tower which isn't pictured because we were too out of breathe after climbing those stairs!!

4. Sequoia National Park, CA

This was the first time I went camping in over 10+ years!! It was definitely out of my element, but I loved every minute of it. Sequoia is so breathtaking. We also saw some deer, and a momma bear with her cubs! We hiked a couple miles to this amazing waterfall, climbed up some steep steps to Moro Rock, and best of all, had an internet detox!! I need another camping trip real soon, hehe.

5. Fortworth and Dallas, TX

This was my most recent trip, and the farthest state I've visited from California! I went with Jeff and his family to attend a wedding, and we ended up visiting a couple different places! First was the Fort Worth Stockyards, which is popular to experience at least once if you visit this area. Another one of my favorite spots was the Dallas World Museum, which I highly recommend because it's an indoor aquarium and zoo! We saw sloths, alligators, and even a black panther!

There were so many more places I wanted to include like Las Vegas, Melrose Ave in Los Angeles, Disneyland, but I'm sure you've seen enough of those on my Instagram!

Thanks so much for stopping by, let me know in the comments if you want more travel related posts this year!
